We are raising up an army of volunteers to serve and love our city.

This takes many forms, including emergency assistance for families and individuals (the provision of food, accommodation, clothing, and financial relief), as well as financial counselling and support and a wide variety of practical expressions of love and service.

Mainly Music

Mainly Music is a fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their young child. Throughout the morning, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills as well as socialize with others. Each mainly music is associated with and is run by volunteers from a local church. Children are introduced to music, creativity and more.

Radical Christmas

We love Christmas and invite you to help make someone else's life a little brighter!

In 2012 we launched “Radical Christmas”,  and across the years have seen incredible generosity shown by our community, with over $187,000 being donated through gifts of hope, love and joy.

Every year we partner with OurChurch and the community to join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus by giving hope and spreading the joy of Christmas, by purchasing gifts in love for someone they have never met, right here in our city. It’s an amazing way to make someones life a little brighter.

We have been thrilled by the generosity shown and as we radically embrace the true spirit of Christmas, bringing joy to many.

As part of our response, we packed and delivered 694 food hampers, 683 hygiene hampers, 331 cleaning hampers and 140 baby hampers, as well as supplying 1751 slabs of water and other specific items in need.
