Sponsor handmade quilts for patients in hospice and hospitals

No sewing skills required! Your donation will purchase 2 metres of printed fabric or wadding for the Gold Coast’s Connected Threads sewing team to craft personal quilts for patients in local hospices. These quilts are cherished keepsakes for families with a loved one in palliative care.

The crafty team also creates warm lap quilts with fun patterns for students in wheelchairs at nearby special schools. If you’re interested in joining the action, the quilters get together every Tuesday morning at 9am at The Junction GC in Burleigh Heads.
