Provide clean clothing for a survivor of domestic violence.

When a domestic or family violence survivor presents to hospital they are in a vulnerable state, often bloody, bruised and distressed. They are in need of clean, soft clothing. Going home to get clothing or purchase new clothing is not an option. Providing this basic necessity greatly increases the chances of them taking their first step toward freedom from abuse.

$40 provides a hygiene kit that includes things like: deodorant, comb, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, face washer, and sanitary products.

The Dress Her With Dignity program, run by charity Convoy of Hope in partnership with local churches and organisations, currently runs in a number of hospitals throughout the Northern Territory and two hospitals here on the Gold Coast. Through this initiative, Love This City and OurChurch partner with Robina Hospital.
