More than 14,000 current and former ADF members call the Gold Coast home. The Battle Initiative’s five-day Legacy Program supports veterans, serving military personnel, first responders and their spouses as they navigate the challenges of service, trauma and life beyond the uniform.

Through shared experiences, practical guidance and genuine connection, participants are supported to build resilience, find hope and rediscover purpose. With participants travelling from across Australia, every place is fully sponsored, including flights, accommodation, meals and other travel costs. This allows participants to focus entirely on their recovery, building resilience and rediscovering purpose. And the support doesn’t end after five days. Through ongoing aftercare, mentors stay connected, offering encouragement, practical guidance and pathways to further counselling and support when needed.
